thank you for your interest in southwest! we are a pb community set in austin, tx. all we ask here is that you interact, have fun, and avoid ooc drama.

• biographies must include basic information such as name, age, and occupation, as well as a blurb or several facts pertaining to your character.

• you must have both a friends only and ooc contact post, both backdated.

• your pb must be within three years of your celeb's age.

• journals must be in character with no underscores or numbers.

• if you are denied, it will be due to your examples or that you are missing a portion of the application process. please do not ask why you were denied. if we have questions about your application, we will send you a pm.

• each month, we require one interactive and one developmental update. an interactive update can take place in your journal or in ~downtown. developmental updates include blog style entries, narratives, or creative posts such as instagram, playlists, or anything css/html heavy. while we encourage writing, we want your character to grow in whatever way is most fitting for them.

• in an effort to keep things simple, we do not allow a certain number of comment threads or scenes to count towards activity. as a member of southwest, you agree to keep your flist current within two weeks and interact on the fpage often. failure to do this could result in removal.

• it is not a requirement but we ask that you use ~pbads to build new lines and invite new members. we do not have a lines community at this time.

• you have until the next add cycle to post an introduction

• please wait at least 30 days before applying with an additional character.

• hiatuses last two weeks, extensions last for one week. exceptions will be made for extrenuating circumstances.

• if you are removed due to activity, you will be required to update your journal before reapplying. if you are removed due to flist, you must update it within three days of acceptance.
